The memorial service for former Alpha Fire Company EMS Captain & life member Evelyn Harget will be Saturday July 28 at 11 AM. This will be held at St. John's in Littlestown. The family will be receiving family and friends from 10-11. Please continue to hold the family and fellow members in your thoughts and prayers. Ms. Harget had a very deep and profound impact on MANY responders & the EMS system at Alpha. Our ambulances were able to respond to thousands (yes thousands) of incidents day or night in any weather condition because of the dedicated service and passion that she had for our Fire Company. She has left her mark on EMS at Alpha and the surrounding area in many ways and we are in a better position because of it. She will certainly be missed, but not forgotten. #AlphaStrong

She loved the Fire Company. I can remember her always coming to take the ambulance calls. She was defiantly a dedicated lady. I’d say she will be missed, but she was already missed.

Evite always had the patient at heart. She worked hard at the hospital and never refused to help. She will be missed.

Evelyn was my partner when I was with the department. Many days and nights of running calls and I could always count on her to respond on our duty nights. A great friend and mentor.
