1) Who is covered in my family subscription?
A family subscription covers two spouses/partners and all their children under the age of 21 living at home. An exception to this is any children living at home that are attending post-high school learning of any kind (college, vocational school, trade school, etc.) up to age 23 or any children who may be dependents due to mental or physical disabilities, regardless of their age, these groups would also be covered under the Family subscription. If you have a unique family circumstance that doesn't really fit in to this category and you are trying to determine if this is the right subscription for you please let us know.
2) What if I am over 65 years old, but my spouse is not, do we still qualify for the senior couple membership?
If your spouse/partner/significant other is between the ages of 60-65 and you are over 65 you may both be covered by the senior couple membership. If there is a more significant age gap, please call and let us know, and we will evaluate on a case by case basis.
3) My subscription came with someone else's name on it, or "Friends of Alpha", what do I do?
We strive to keep our mailing list as updated as possible, but with many new homes being built we do not always have an accurate representation. If you receive a subscription mailer that does not have your name on it, you may cross off the name on it and write the correct name in. This will update our records and you should receive a correct mailer the following year.
4) I didn't get a mailer at all, what should I do?
If you have not received a mailer and would like one, there are several steps you can take. You may call (717) 359-4212, follow the prompts in the automated system, and press 4 to leave a message for Ambulance Club. This voicemail box is checked as often as possible. You may also stop by the station and request a mailer, we have extras on site. We also make every attempt to keep extra copies on the ambulances based on availability.
5) I have a question that isn't covered here or in the mailer pamphlet, who should I contact?
If you have a question that isn't covered above or in the mailer pamphlet, you may contact the station at (717) 359-4212 and choose option 4 to leave a message for the Ambulance Club. You may also send an email to email@example.com to reach the EMS Committee, who supervises the Ambulance Club process.
