Attention Littlestown Residents!

This Thursday August 13th is the Good Ole Days Parade! That being said there will be road closures and detours in place. The closures will begin at 6:20pm and last until the parade is completed. Parade starts at 6:30pm. The parade has over 60 entries, so expect delays in travel for at least one hour. Fire Police will have the roadway shut down at the following intersections as you enter the borough of Littlestown.

N. Queen at Whitehall Road (Royal Farms traffic light) Detour onto Whitehall or Columbus

W. King at Columbus Ave ( By Kennies Market) Detour onto Columbus or S. Columbus

S. Queen at S. Columbus, Detour via S. Columbus

W. King at Basehore School Rd, Detour via Basehore School Rd then left on Whitehall Rd.

Please be advised that all cross streets will be closed along N. Queen St and E. King St. as this is the parade route. It begins on Newark St and Ends at Crouse Park.

If you are passing through town please follow the detours listed above. If you live in town and are trying to get home please advise the fire police who are directing traffic, where you are trying to go, so they can find you a safe route home.

Please be patient with the fire police who are from Alpha Fire Company and many neighboring departments who come to assist us. It takes over thirty fire police to close the roads and keep parade participants and spectators safe!
